Protecting People, Enhancing Lives against Mosquitoes

Last September 30, 2016 in line with the pledge to fight Dengue, a disease which can be fatal, and many other maladies brought by Aedes mosquito, together with the Rentokil Initial’s commitment of ‘Protecting People and Enhancing Lives’, Rentokil Initial Philippines (RIPH) in partnership with Alog & Company, had the opportunity to once again extend a helping hand to the community by conducting mosquito control treatment to protect people from mosquito and related diseases brought by the pest at Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF) Center located at Ortigas Avenue, corner C5 Road Frontera Verde, Pasig City.

This is a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of RIPH where the expert team goes to give back to society by enriching their awareness about mosquitoes and enhancing their lives with a community service that aims to safeguard the health, safety and well-being of the community.

Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF) is a non-profit organization and indigenous church which serves as a congregation point for many devotees, evangelists and committed volunteers where they assemble to convene and worship. Not to mention that it also has a learning and educational facility for children. As experts in integrated pest management, we know that children are more vulnerable in Dengue as the median age falls at 13 years old while most (38.8%) belonged to 5-14 years old according to DOH. We do not stop on the treatment and control alone as we have arranged to put on posters in the building’s bulletin board to further inform about how to prevent mosquito breeding in their own homes.

Rentokil Initial continues to support the community and environment by continuing the contribution to the public and society by gestures and missions such as charitable projects by conducting pest awareness and pest control programs for society.
